About MoodRadius

The name

“Mood” is your taste and vibe: what you feel like hearing. “Radius” is how far you'll walk between stages. A good festival day balances both.

MoodRadius began as a mood-based discovery idea and now focuses on festivals, starting with Austin City Limits 2026.

How recommendations work

Your plan is built by a fixed set of scoring rules, not a chatbot. We score each set on how well it matches the moods and genres you chose (and the order you ranked them in: your first pick counts the most), any artists you named, and your must-sees, then pick a route that respects your walking limit and the real walk time between stages. The same answers always produce the same plan. Where an artist's vibe tags have not been reviewed by a person yet, they count for less.

No one can pay to be recommended. There is no paid placement, sponsorship weighting, or artist promotion in the scoring, and there never will be.

Data freshness

Set times come from the published festival schedule and are reviewed by a person before we publish them. If the schedule changes, we update it. When a set has no published end time, we say so and mark the end as an estimate. Weekend Two set times will be added once they are published.

Independence

MoodRadius is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Austin City Limits, C3 Presents, or any artist. Festival and artist names appear only to identify who is playing and when.
